Refund Policy

This Refund Policy forms part of the Terms & Conditions of J'AcE Gymnastics Club. By enrolling in classes or purchasing services, you agree to the following terms.

1. General Policy

All fees paid to J'AcE Gymnastics Club are non-refundable unless expressly stated otherwise in this policy.

Fees secure a participant’s place in a class, and staffing, venue hire, insurance, and operational costs are committed in advance based on enrolment numbers.

2. Class Fees

2.1 Class fees are payable in advance and are non-refundable once a term, block, or billing cycle has commenced.
2.2 Missed classes due to holidays, personal commitments, illness, or other circumstances are not eligible for refund.
2.3 Make-up sessions may be offered at the club’s discretion but are not guaranteed.

3. Cancellation by Participant

3.1 If a participant wishes to cancel membership, written notice must be provided in accordance with the club’s notice period policy (e.g., 4 weeks' written notice, where applicable).
3.2 Fees remain payable during the notice period.
3.3 Failure to attend sessions does not constitute cancellation.

4. Cancellation by the Club

4.1 In the event that J'AcE Gymnastics Club cancels a session due to circumstances within its control (e.g., coach illness), a replacement session, credit, or partial refund may be offered at the club’s discretion.
4.2 In the event of circumstances beyond the club’s control (including but not limited to severe weather, government restrictions, venue closure, or force majeure events), refunds are not guaranteed. Alternative arrangements such as rescheduled sessions or online classes may be offered where possible.

5. Medical Withdrawals

5.1 Where a participant is unable to continue due to a medically certified injury or condition, the club may consider a partial refund or credit upon receipt of a valid medical certificate.
5.2 Any refund or credit granted under these circumstances remains at the sole discretion of the club.

6. Events, Workshops & Competitions

6.1 Fees for workshops, holiday camps, events, competitions, uniforms, and merchandise are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the club.
6.2 Where third-party providers are involved (e.g., competition entry fees), refunds are subject to the third party’s policies.

7. Payment Processing Fees

Where refunds are approved, J'AcE Gymnastics Club reserves the right to deduct any non-recoverable payment processing fees.

8. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable UK legislation.

9. Amendments

J'AcE Gymnastics Club reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Updated versions will be published on the website.
